What does Oggi mean?

Oggi (pronounced od-gee) means Today.

In 2008 when we decided to create a new Wedding Division of Bristol Workshops in Photography, we wanted something fun and fresh that reflected our personalities. We wanted a name that let the world know that we are a photography studio for today’s hip brides. Although we have handed over our wedding photography (and Hip Brides!) to Matt at Bluefish Photography, we have retained our name and brand to accompany us into our new era of commercial and fine art photography.

In Italian there is a popular wedding phrase, ”Oggi, sposo mio amico migliore ”, which means “Today, I marry my best friend”. It was true when I married Stephan 30 years ago and it is still true today. Oggi simply translates as today or now, and perfectly sums up the way we choose to live and work - here and now!
