He got his first camera at age 9 and immediately started photographing his family, sister, dog, cousins, neighbors, cat... of course he became a photojournalist! Twenty five years as a visual journalist for The Providence Journal taught him the art of photography and the sport of capturing the energy of key scenes and emotion. While shooting weddings he becomes the wizard, calm and brilliant, putting it all together so the story is told with award winning images. He sees wedding photography as one of the greatest opportunities for creating art...what a gift. At home, when he’s not shooting video or making photos of his family (still!) he’s writing songs and stories for his children, Ruby, Walter and Lucy.
