As some of you know, I traveled to Haiti last month to photograph for 1000jobsHaiti. It was a rich journey, filled with sights, smells and emotions that I have never experienced before. The sea of people was lush, the landscape teetered between heaven (the apparent visuals of the countryside), and hell (the city, Port-Au-Prince). It was a photographic overload! I miss it. Kristen and Eric were married a OceanCliff in Newport on a glorious summer afternoon under a bright clear sky and lots of sunshine.  The bride was attended by her sister and a parade of wand-wielding flowergirls as a host of friends and family looked on.  The OceanCliff didn't disappoint with its elegant setting and sweeping view of the Jamestown bridge.

Bristol is famous for it's annual Four of July Celebration.  Every year a new Chief Marshal is elected by a committee to lead the season's events.  Betty and Joe Brito, Jr. were chosen as this year's Chief Marshals.  The Brito's embody the pride and American patriotism that are key to the tradition of Bristol's Fourth of July.  Julie from Oggi was thrilled to be chosen as the Brito's official photographer and document all the wonderful events hosted and created by the Britos.  The Fourth of July Ball and Chief Marshal's Reception were representative of the Brito's hard work and dedication to making everything sparkling and memorable.
