This wedding combined nostalgia and wild joy! Heather carried her Grandmother’s brooch on her bouquet, and danced the night away in her Mom’s wedding dress. The couple (and the guests!) were blessed with a huge rainbow, a great omen of this beautiful marriage to come.

Mt. Hope Farm in Bristol hosted “Cool Jazz and More” on  August 1. This amazing event could not have happened without the tireless efforts of Betty and Joe Brito, Amy and Carl Benevides and all of the Mt. Hope Farm steering commitee volunteers. An event like this doesn’t just happen... people donate their time and products with care and affection. It was sponsored by BankNewport. There was a huge tent, donated by Newport Tent. Kelli O’Brien of Exquisite Events decorated the tent with drapes and chandeliers for a wedding the night before, and donated her beautiful decor, as well as the very fancy restrooms. The Lobster Pot donated the raw bar, Fales Farm donated the corn, Rentals Unlimited donated another tent as well as linens, tables and chairs, Russ Morin Fine Catering donated the bartenders, grills and grillmasters and Oggi donated photography with the help of the amazing Lindsay Green!
