Meredith and Brent at Castle Hill

Meredith and Brent were married at Castle Hill Inn in Newport, RI.  Their wedding day was warm and hazy with fog rolling in and out of the harbor.  It was relaxed and the perfect pairing of elegant and casual.  They were surrounded by joyful friends and family and the swinging band kept the dance floor packed all night.  Ivory lace, hydrangea blue and citrus green made a lush palette for this wedding by the sea.  The extra-large full moon rising on the east side of the harbor while a painterly sunset streaked the western horizon made for the perfect ending to this remarkable day.

Jen and Joe’s Wedding at Fort Adams, Newport

Jen and Joe were married in a ceremony at Fort Adams in Newport under a blue bird sky as schooners sailed by and the breezes drifted off the water.  They got ready at The (gorgeous) Vanderbilt Grace Hotel in downtown Newport and then enjoyed a walk in the sunshine through Newport to the boat which took them to Fort Adams. The weathered and worn backdrop of the old fort added incredible texture for some stunning photos of Jen in her all lace gown.  After the couple exchanged vows they joined their guests under a packed tent for a glowing night of dancing under the stars.

Elizabeth and Phil at Oceancliff

Elizabeth and Phil were married on a clear crisp night at St. Mary's Church in Bristol. Elizabeth looked radiant in her blooming gown of flowers and beads.  The couple held their recelption at Oceancliff in Newport and had plans to take photos outside but the blustery conditions moved them inside pretty quickly.  A packed dance floor and a towering wedding cake (made by Elizabeth's mother!) made for a wonderful, warm evening surrounded by friends and family.

Tatiana and Glenn at Rosecliff

Tatiana and Glenn were married at the beautiful Greek Orthodox St. Sprydion Church in Newport, RI.  The ceremony and church were a visual feast full of texture, vibrance and tradition.  The spectacular evening continued at Rosecliff mansion where the ballroom held tables of romantic red roses and cerulean blue details. The couple's first dance was an impressive choreographed tango with the bride wearing her second dress of the evening in order to fully swing on the dance floor. A royal feast was served by the first rate staff from Russ Morin and concluded with a mouth-watering dessert bar. After dessert Tatianna slipped into a short, crisp, white frock and continued dancing into the wee hours of the night.

Kate and Steve at Castle Hill

The incredibly charming Kate and Steve were married at Castle Hill on a classic Newport afternoon with fog rolling in off the water.  You will remember this much-loved couple from their engagement session with Julie.  Kate's warm smile, lapis blue eyes and golden hair make her look like a bride straight from the magazines.  The couple is effortlessly-chic and their wedding was the perfect expression of that.  An elegant palette of shimmery silvery and punchy orange with navy made a gorgeous setting for a fantasticly fun party.

Nicole and Tom at OceanCliff

On a hot hot hot summer night Nicole and Tom had a wild, high-energy wedding.  The two were married at the elegant St. Luke's Church in Barrington, RI and held a swinging reception at OceanCliff.  Everyone was dressed in vibrant jewel tones and the dance floor was packed from the moment the DJ invited them on.  The spectacular moment from this wedding was the football-style entrance and huddle up organized by Tom and his groomsmen.  The wedding party burst through a banner and then circled around the beaming couple while Tom lead them in a chant.  It won the prize for best entrance of the summer hands down.  It was such a good-time wedding that I'm not sure Nicole and Tom stopped smiling the whole evening.  Here's wishing them a lifetime where the music doesn't stop and your cheeks hurt from smiling.
